Our registration includes 1 (one) class of works – note that we charge R450 for each additional class of works you wish to add.

Requirements:

• Company Registration Documents: Certified copies of CIPC registration documents.
• Shareholders and Directors Information:
  • Certified copies of IDs or passports.
  • Physical and postal addresses.
  • Contact details (phone number and email address).
• Company Tax Clearance Certificate: Valid tax clearance certificate from SARS.
• Financial Statements: Latest audited financial statements or a letter from your accountant.
• Banking Details: Stamped bank confirmation letter not older than 3 months.
• Business Profile: Comprehensive business profile detailing company capabilities and experience.
• Proof of Address: Recent utility bill or lease agreement.
• List of Completed Projects:
  • Details of projects completed in the past 5 years.
  • Project names, locations, and values.
  • Contact details for project references.
• Grading Designation: Desired CIDB grading level (Grade 1-9) based on your company’s capabilities and financial standing.
• Supporting Documentation: Additional documents supporting your application (e.g., letters of recommendation, contracts).

CIDB Class of Works:

Indicate the class of works for which you are applying. Choose from the following classes:

• CE – Civil Engineering
• EB – Electrical Engineering (Building)
• EP – Electrical Engineering (Infrastructure)
• GB – General Building
• ME – Mechanical Engineering
• SB – Specialist Building Works
• SC – Specialist Construction Works
• SF – Specialist Works (Fire Prevention and Protection)
• SI – Specialist Works (Security Systems)
• SK – Specialist Works (Kitchen Equipment)
• SL – Specialist Works (Landscaping)
• SM – Specialist Works (Security and Access Control Systems)
• SQ – Specialist Works (Quality Control and Testing)
